GAMERANGER ADDS SUPPORT FOR YAHTZEE AND CHESS
Perth, Western Australia -- January 18, 2000 -- Scott Kevill today announced the inclusion of two new game titles on GameRanger, the Macintosh multiplayer online gaming service. In addition to the 27 previous titles, gamers can now play Netzee and ChessWorks across the internet.
GameRanger was first introduced for public beta testing in July 1999 with support for 11 game titles, and has already received many rave reviews, including an award of "Best Internet Gaming Achievement" by Macworld Magazine in their 1999 Hall of Fame. GameRanger now has over 16,000 members and support for 29 popular game titles.
GameRanger is available as a free download, at <https://www.GameRanger.com>.
Netzee is an internet multiplayer version of the classic, dice-rolling, board game, Yahtzee, that allows up to four people to play. ChessWorks is an internet multiplayer version of Chess with multiple board and piece graphic sets and the ability to make your own. Both games allow you to chat while playing, and both are available free from Ekim Software, at <http://www.nearside.com/EkimSW/>
